Paste a list and the cleaned version appears next to it. By default repeated lines are removed and the original order is kept, because the order of a list usually carries meaning.
Duplicates are matched after trimming, so a line with a trailing space counts as the same line. Turn trimming off when the spacing matters, for instance in indented code.
Case matching is separate. With it off, "Apple" and "apple" are two different lines; with it on, only the first form you wrote is kept — the tool never changes your capitalisation.
Sorting is optional and runs after the duplicates are gone. Sorting by length breaks ties alphabetically so the same input always gives the same output.
The counter under the result shows how many lines came in and how many repeats were dropped, which is the quickest way to see whether a list was as clean as you thought.
Nothing you paste is sent to a server. Everything happens inside your browser, so an internal name list or a set of customer emails is safe to work with here.
