How to use
Load an image and enter the width or the height you want. Fill in just one of them and the other is worked out for you, keeping the original proportions.
Lowering the quality setting cuts the file size sharply. For a photo going on a website, 80 usually halves the size with no visible difference. Compare the before and after figures and settle on a number from there.
WebP gives you a smaller file than JPEG at the same visual quality, but older software may refuse to open it, so stick with JPEG for anything that is not headed for a website. If you need a transparent background, pick PNG or WebP.
Your image is never uploaded. Everything happens inside your browser, so work material and personal photos are safe here.
